It is often the case that you learn you are owed some money in the shape of a tax rebate by looking closely at the documentation you receive related to how you are paid. However, looking closely at this information does not always reveal the extent of the overpayment. You may be able to work out that something is amiss and that the mistakes should lead to a rebate, but that doesn’t mean you will know exact figures.

You can get a much better picture of the total sum of money you are owed by making contact with tax rebate services. These services do not just work on your behalf to secure the tax rebate you are owed in a timely fashion. They also give you the means of working out the amount of money you are owed in the first place.

They do this by providing special tax rebate calculators that are programmed to work out your overpayments according to a few bits of information. It is usually completely free to run a little calculation so that you know what to expect if you go ahead with your claim.
