It is sometimes the case that you simply cannot go on with a particular job. There may be all sorts of reasons why you feel you ought to quit ranging from the professional to the personal. If you decide that it would be better for you to call time on a particular job than go on with it even if you have nothing else to move on to immediately then it is wise to look into tax rebates at the same time.

Quitting your job could prove to be a really positive move if your current position does little for your sense of worth, personal advancement or general state of happiness. However, you have to be sure that you can deal with the financial implications of jumping ship. One way that you can look after yourself is to make sure that when you leave your job you get back any tax that you have overpaid.

Overpayments happen as a result of how tax is worked out over the year and unfairness and mistakes are not always involved. You can claim tax back when you leave your job to make sure that you have a little something in the bank to help you look for something new.
